Being that the materials that I work with vary from being abundant (right now at least) to very rare and sought after, any custom pieces of jewelry will require a quote first. All of these materials vary in price from time to time depending on current availability, demand and publicity in the raw stone market. I mostly buy  directly from mines and claims so that any fluctuation in price will usually be low. However, once you receive a quote on a particular piece of jewelry it is good for 2 weeks. It usually takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours to get a quote depending on the type of stone.
